A Message from the Wardens – 6th May 2022

Dear Friends,
Our service on Sunday will be Holy Communion.
Plans are coming together for Ben’s licensing service on 13th June.

After the service we will be serving tea and coffee with home-made cakes. If you enjoy baking and have time in the next few weeks to get a cake or two into the freezer that would be greatly appreciated.

Please pray for Ben and Rachel and their children this weekend as they prepare to move into the vicarage at the beginning of next week.

A reminder that we have a working morning in the church grounds on Saturday 28th May. Please save the date. Some members of Christ Church, Endcliffe are planning to join us. More details to follow.

The PCC will be meeting on Monday evening and would value your prayers for wisdom in decision making.

We have received the following information to pass on :

St Andrew’s Psalter Lane Church presents ‘An Introduction to Eco Church’ Open morning This open morning is for churches of any denomination interested in considering, getting started, or already involved in the Eco Church movement. An opportunity to ask questions, hosted by a local church holding an Eco Church Silver Award. What difference does being an Eco Church make in practice? How to get started? How to overcome common challenges? How can we better support and encourage each other? If you missed out on our successful event last November, now’s your chance to have your questions answered!

Fair Trade refreshments will be provided.

Saturday 14 May, 10.30am – 12.30pm, at St Andrew’s Psalter Lane Church, 31 Psalter Lane, SHEFFIELD S11 8YL

Every blessing, Ann & James
