A Message from the Wardens – 11th February 2022

Dear Friends,

Our service on Sunday will be Morning Praise.

Readings: 1 Corinthians 15:12-20 and Luke 6:17-26

Neil, who is leading the service, has asked everyone to bring one item for the food bank if possible.

Prayer ministry

Prayer ministry has not yet resumed in the current covid climate, but if you would like someone to pray with you, please ask one of the team after the service and a couple of people would be happy to do that. Have a word with one of the churchwardens if you don’t know who is on the prayer ministry team.

Dates for your Diary

Weather permitting there will be a working morning on Saturday 26th February from 9am to 12pm when we will be focusing on continuing to clear the grounds. Any help in clearing the leaves, painting the downpipes, working on the flower beds, and trimming some trees from the ground would be greatly appreciated

Together in Prayer

Three opportunities to meet with members of Christ Church Endcliffe to pray for the Graft. Tuesday 29th March Tuesday 3rd May Tuesday 7th June

Including Ben and his family, we are expecting 12 adults and 12 children to be joining us in June. It has been good to start getting to know themover the past few weeks as we have welcomed some of them to our services and to coffee afterwards. Several of the families have put their houses on the market and are aiming to move to Totley so please pray for them. You may have noticed that the vicarage is now empty. The Diocese is arranging for some repairs to be done and the boiler to be replaced before Ben and Rachel and family arrive.

At the start of half term, let’s pray this week for our families and all who work in schools. Every blessing,
Ann & James
