As we begin the New Year we will be taking steps towards the Graft we have been focussing on praying about over the past few months. We made a good start last Sunday at the All Ages All Together service as we had the opportunity to write down some of our hopes and dreams for the future and fix them on a large sheet of paper at the front of church. Do have a look if you weren’t able to be there. We hope to add to the poster over the coming weeks.
Our service on Sunday will be Holy Communion. Ben will be in church and will be joining the children and young people when they go to their groups in the hall. He will also be available at coffee time to chat and answer any questions you may have.
Please continue to pray specially for the people who have committed to come as part of the Graft as they meet together and explore what will be involved.
Hopes and Dreams Meeting – 15/01/2022
We had planned to meet with some of the Graft team on 15th January but unfortunately, the timing is not quite right and therefore this has been postponed and will be re-arranged in the next few weeks.
Thanks to everyone who signed up on the coffee rota last week. There are only a couple of spaces left.
We would also like to re-introduce the rota for people to take part in the service by reading a lesson or leading the prayers. There will be a sign- up sheet available on Sunday so please sign up and also encourage others to have a go.
A message from Dorothy
There are Memory Table Flowers lists for 2022 displayed in Church and the Hall. There are more empty spaces than full ones, so if you wish to change a date or fill one, in memory of a loved one or a special date, please do so. Thank you, Dorothy.
(It might be a good idea to come equipped with a pen this week!)
Diversity and Inclusion Conversations
Liz Hardie and Ali Creasey will be hosting a conversation on Diversity and Inclusion on Thursday 27th January, 8:00 pm to 9:00 pm in the Church Lounge,
If you are planning on attending, please confirm with Ali via email at email@example.com.
Please pray for the PCC members meeting on Monday evening.
We are very conscious at the moment of so many of you quietly getting on with playing your part as members of the Body of Christ at All Saints, using your gifts and talents. We want you to know we appreciate you and are grateful for you.
Ann & James.
