A Message from the Wardens – 28th May 2021

Dear Friends,

It was good to be able to be with so many of you last Sunday to worship in church, despite the limitations. How we miss singing!

We are continuing to meet via Zoom for Coffee & Chat for the next few weeks but have decided to start 15 minutes later at 11.15 to give more people time to get home and put the kettle on. As always details can be obtained from the Wardens.

If you have walked past the church hall this week you will have seen that the decorator has started work. There will be a pause next week because of holiday arrangements but we hope it won’t be too long before we are able to use it again. Toddler group and Soulroots have been valiantly meeting outdoors on the grass for several weeks but the changeable weather hasn’t helped.

If anyone has time to help by washing some of the curtains from the lounge please let us know. We could also do with a couple more volunteers to be on the rota to be at church by 9.40 on Sunday mornings to welcome people as they arrive.

Ali would be glad to have some feedback/testimonies from you on our series on the environment in time for the climate Sunday service on 6th June. Has it made you change anything?

If you would like to consider being confirmed in October please speak to Ali so that she can make plans for some preparation sessions in September.

We look forward to seeing as many of you as possible on Sunday and hope that you enjoy the Bank Holiday.

With love from Ann & James.
