We are looking forward to meeting together in church again on Sunday as we celebrate Pentecost. The arrangements will be as last time we were in church with social distancing, hand sanitising and wearing face coverings. The text of the service and a recording of the sermon will be available on the website. The Zoom Coffee and Chat will continue until 20th June and the PCC will consider whether to extend this or not at their June meeting. The details are as usual, and available form the Wardens.
We have now come to the end of our series of sermons on the environment based on Ruth Valerio’s book “Say Yes to Life” and we will be holding a Climate Sunday service on 6th June. During last week’s sermon Ali asked for a response from us:
“It would be great to have a number of stories from you as to what you have learnt over this series and the changes that you have made as a result of that. If you would like to participate, please record your stories and send them through to: email@example.com, by Sunday 30th May, so we will edit them together to show on the day.
Remember you don’t need to be on camera, a picture and a voice will work, especially if you are under 18.”
We have had the opportunity to share our thoughts in our small group week by week but it would be good to hear what other people have been doing too.
Please don’t forget to send your contact details for the updated Fellowship Directory if you haven’t done so already using the link in the notices. It is very quick and easy to do. If you don’t use the technology you can give the Wardens a call and we will do it for you.
Thanks to everyone who donated to Christian Aid last week. Dorothy thinks that a combination of donations via the e-envelope and a few directly to Christian Aid will have made a contribution of approximately £500 from All Saints.
Looking forward to being back together again on Sunday.
With love from Ann & James
