A Message from the Wardens – 9th April 2021

Dear Friends,

This Sunday we will be beginning our environment series, “Saying Yes to Life”, with the theme Light and Energy. Services will return to the format we were using before the Holy Week zoom sessions, recorded and available from 10am.

Coffee and Chat continues from 11am with the same joining details. These are available from the Wardens on churchwardenstotley@gmail.com.

The Spring edition of Network, the diocesan magazine, is now available online (link below) and will not be available in printed form this time.

There are plenty of interesting articles from across the diocese, including one about the work of the chaplains during the pandemic. Many of you may not know that Pauline Perkinton has been a volunteer in the chaplaincy department at the Hallamshire hospital for 19 years.

Unfortunately the pandemic meant that she had to retire before reaching 20 years’ service, which had been her plan.

We were saddened to hear the news this afternoon of the death of Prince Philip and are sure you will want to join us in praying for the Queen and all the Royal Family.

With love from Ann and James
